Lego Loses EC Trade Mark For Its Building Bricks

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has decided that Lego can no longer claim exclusitivity to its building brick design on the grounds that the functional shape of the building brick is not registrable as a trade mark.

This is obviously good news for Lego's rival Mega Brands who were the party that challenged Lego's brick trade mark
